Change needs to be enacted in our society’s complacency surrounding rape culture starting at a local level. Specifically boys’ high school sports, where tolerated toxicity allied with the valorization of athletics transcends into misogynistic attitudes and behavior which manifests into a lack of accountability in men in power.
